Will Ferrell was a Los Angeles-based comedian who was born in Irvine in 1967.
Following his acclaimed saeven-year run as a member of the cast on Saturday
Night Live, he was one of the industry's most popular comedic performers with
off-color films such as Old School (2003) and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron
Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was the co-founder of the well-known video streaming
service Funny or Die. He has also been a popular voice actor in animated films

California on July 16th 1967. Will Ferrell, who was the oldest son and
keyboardist of the Righteous Brothers Lee Ferrell and Kay Ferrell, was hardly
the clown in class as an University High School senior. A quiet and solitary
person, Ferrell chose to make his mark on the football field, where he set a
school record for most field goals made. Ferrell was a quiet man in suburban
suburbia, and did not display the same outrageous or humorous behavior that
would define his career.
