 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist After emigrating to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. From 2013 until 2016, she worked as the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. She rose to fame for her roles in television commercials. Commercial appearances weren't the only thing she was involved in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot television series for New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. When she was just two she left together with her parents to U.S. to escape antisemitism. She was able to settle in West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she dropped out and earned a GED. She continued, however, to obtain an undergraduate degree in Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
