 Nathan John Feuerstein is an American rapper. He has released two EPs on Capitol CMG, "I'm Free" (2012) and [3and a self-titled EP in 2014. Mansion was the first album he released on major label. The second studio album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016 and peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have been recognized with numerous awards. One of these is the Gospel Music Association Dove Award, Rap/Hip Hop Album Of The Year (Therapy Session). In 2017, Perception entered the mainstream. It reached the top of the charts at number 1 in the United States and was also certified platinum. While its third single "Let You Down" reached the top ten on the U.S. charts, NF gained mainstream popularity in 2017. Billboard Hot 100 topped the charts across the globe and was a top ten charting hit. Similar commercial success was achieved by The Search (2019). Feuerstein said that rap was a way to escape his family in his early years. Feuerstein recorded songs on a Karaoke Machine, recording his instrumentals with one mic and his raps one. On November 29 of 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. The debut single, "Alone", came out on August 2, 2011. The track featured songwriter and producer Tommee Profitt and Brooke Griffith. In 2012, the work of Feuerstein was noticed by Xist Music. He released his debut extended play I’m Free on May 2nd in 2012 and Profitt provided the production. The album's tracklist contained nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also contained the original version of Alone featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist was in the news about the self-titled extended play NF. However, Feuerstein has ended his association with the label, and the production of NF was delayed. However, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, in the compilation album of the label, Move Vol 1. On November 4 in 2013, he debuted "Beautiful Addiction" which was an album single. The track featured a second appearance by Profitt, as well as the voices of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
